If, within 7 days of placing your order you decide you do not want to go through with the transaction you may cancel provided you contact Platinum4you Ltd. and receive confirmation by post or e-mail from us. In such an instance you will be given a unique reference number.
Work will commence on you order immediately upon receipt of payment. As each of our pieces are unique and are made to order, several specialist craftsmen are involved with each finished item. Please allow up to 30 days for delivery.
All purchases are delivered in an attractive light wood presentation box.
We use Royal Mail’s Special Delivery Service for all addresses in the U.K. and a similar courier service for other countries. This will require a signature upon receipt.
Platinum4you Ltd. will deliver parcels to the purchasing credit card holder’s address or to the cardholder’s chosen delivery address. We will not be held responsible for the parcel if signed for by anyone else.
We shall be under no liability for any delay in delivery or non-delivery due to circumstances beyond our control.
If the parcel / product is lost or found to be damaged upon receipt then Royal Mail and Platinum4you Ltd. must be informed without delay and any damaged item(s) returned to us for replacement. See below for our Returns Policy.
Platinum4you Ltd. will provide product insurance for all items whilst in transit delivery only up to the point of customers’ signed receipt. It is the customers’ responsibility for appropriate insurance cover thereafter.
In the event that any product is not 100% satisfactory, such item may be returned to us in its original unworn condition (trying for size excepted) within seven days of the relevant signed delivery receipt and exchanged for identical product of a different size. If this is not acceptable we will refund you the full cost of the product less a £10 handling charge.
All returned items must be sent in original presentation box and wrapped in protective packaging to prevent damage during return transit along with all attached documentation and paperwork. This is the customer’s responsibility.
You are liable for postage and insurance costs back to Platinum4you Ltd. using Royal Mail’s Special Delivery Service.
Although unlikely, should an item fail to correspond with specification or show a defect in material or workmanship we will gladly exchange or refund on return of the faulty product(s) within one year from delivery. Platinum4you Ltd. will use its own discretion in replacing these damaged goods and we will not credit or replace items that have been ill treated or suffered damage through normal wear and tear.
Before returning any product(s) you must contact the returns office (returns@Platinum4you.com) to obtain a return number, which must be clearly marked on the back of the parcel. The returned product(s) must be date receipted, must be sent in original presentation box and wrapped in protective packaging to prevent damage during return transit along with all documentation and paperwork. This is the customers’ responsibility. It is also the customers’ responsibility for appropriate insurance cover to be obtained when returning goods to Platinum4you Ltd. and the use of Royal Mail’s Special Delivery is strongly recommended for returns from within the U.K. and the use of an equally reliable courier service when being returned from elsewhere. All goods belong to you the customer until we receive them.
Subject to the following provisions Platinum4you Ltd. warrants that any products supplied will correspond with any applicable specification at the time of delivery and will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from delivery. This warranty is given subject to the following conditions:
(a) Platinum4you Ltd. shall be under no liability in respect of any defect in the products arising from any specification or instructions by you or errors or inadequacies in the same;
(b) Platinum4you Ltd. shall be under no liability in respect of any defect arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage or alteration or repair of products without our approval;
(c) the above warranty does not extend to products not manufactured by Platinum4you Ltd. in respect of which you will only be entitled to the benefit of any such warranty or guarantee as is given by the manufacturer to Platinum4you Ltd.
Subject as expressly provided in these Terms and Conditions, and except where products are sold to a person dealing as a consumer (within the meaning of the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977), all warranties, conditions or other terms implied by statute or common law are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law in respect of any products supplied by Platinum4you Ltd.
Where we have replaced defective products or products failing to meet specification, or refunded to you the price of such products (or a proportionate part of the price), Platinum4you Ltd. shall have no further liability to you.
